A calm, beautiful IPTV app for Google TV. We designed every screen for the viewer who finds tech hardest — so it’s clear enough for an older parent to use on their own, and a pleasure for everyone else. Bring your own provider; ClearView does the rest.
We built every screen for the person who finds technology hardest — a parent, a grandparent, anyone who just wants the TV to work. Get that right, and it turns out everyone else finds it calm, fast and impossible to get lost in.
Every screen is driven by the remote, and exactly one element glows teal. There is never a “where am I?” moment — the highlight answers it, on every screen. It is the small decision that makes the whole app usable without help.
Most people watch a handful of channels. Press OK on that category and it is pinned into the side menu — one press from the home screen, always in the same place. Nothing to scroll past, nothing that moves around.
Every IPTV provider has channels that drop. Instead of freezing on a black screen that looks broken, ClearView says it plainly: “This channel isn’t responding — press Back to choose another.” No mystery, no guessing.
No typing a long URL on the remote. The TV shows a QR code and a short PIN — scan it, open the page on your phone or computer, and paste your M3U link or Xtream login. It lands on the TV in seconds.
Everything you’d expect is here too: a full time-grid TV guide from your XMLTV, channel logos from your playlist, search across every channel, resume where you left off, a big clock and an “ON NOW” hero. Table stakes — done properly, then kept out of the way.
Get ClearView from the Google Play Store on any Google TV / Android TV box, stick or TV. It appears in your apps row.
Open Settings and paste your M3U URL, or enter your Xtream Codes host, username and password. It is saved on the device.
Channels are grouped automatically, the guide fills in, and your last channel is waiting as “Continue watching” next time.
No web wrapper, no bloat. A single-activity Kotlin app with a dependency-free playlist parser and modern Android media tooling.
Set ClearView up from your phone or computer in seconds — no typing long URLs with a remote. Scan the code, add your provider, and you are watching. Here is everything you need to get going.
